[SOLVED] Upgrade recommendation?

Current rig:
CPU: Intel Xeon x5460
GPU: Geforce GT 740 1gb
RAM: 6gb
PSU: 400W

I'm planning on upgrading JUST the GPU for some light casual gaming, does anyone have a recommendation?

i would recommmend a gt 1030 or a gtx 1050 the 1030 is capable of 720p to 1080p on low-mid depending on the game and the 1050 is a 1080 low mid card. i would stay away from amd entirely.

I would recommend a GTX 1050 with 4GB VRAM. And you should probably do something about the ram. 8GB is the minimum for gaming and normal daily use.

Depending on which 400W PSU you have, you may be able to go with a GTX 1060 or 1160. More GPU than the aging Xeon can keep up with in most cases, but you could play all the games at their max graphics settings that way.
The GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1650 would probably be more balanced tho. 1080p monitor?
