Question Upgrade to PC

I have a PC with an AMD B550 motherboard, and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, and an AMD RX 480 Nitro+ GPU. I like to play flight simulator games and performance of Microsoft FS 2020 is marginal. The GPU is pegged at 100%. I have a limited budget and would like to purchase a used GPU that would provide noticeably better performance. I would appreciate any recommendations you can offer.

What is your actual budget for a GPU upgrade?

What are the complete specs for your current system? Please include the make/model of each component, especially the PSU.

A 1080, which is ~ 70-80% faster can be had used for ~$80-120. The issue there would be finding one that hasn't been mined to death. The RX 7600 is right on par with it and widely available new.

Your system could possibly benefit from a 5xxx CPU upgrade as well. Have to keep your eyes open for the deals.

850 W power supply, can't see the make. 3 HD, 2 TB WD. 2 SSD 1 TB, Samsung, logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.

Budget: $125-150.
