Hi, all trying to decide what I should upgrade first for better FPS

AMD Ryzen 3 4300G with Radeon Graphics 3.80 GHz
Crucial Pro DDR4 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 3200MHz
Crucial P3 Plus SSD 2TB M.2
Nvidia 1030gt

I'm looking at changing the
CPU to Ryzen 7 5700X
GPU to RTX 3050 6G
but will this give the best performance increase?
Or should i just build a whole new system

There's some life in the AM4 platform as the price of memory and Mobo will be expensive if you want to go to AM5 platform. The biggest bottleneck is the gpu. The rtx 3050 6g is not that good because of the 6gb of memory. There's plenty of Rx 580 8gb of memory for less than $100 or if you want a faster GPU get an rx6600. Yes if you can get the 5700x and if you can get the 5800x if it is not that expensive.

Some games are graphics limited like fast action shooters.
Others are cpu core speed limited like strategy, sims, and mmo.
Multiplayer tends to like many threads.

You need to find out which.
------------------------------------------------------------
To help clarify your CPU/GPU options, run this test:

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

Your current graphics performance is not even on this chart:

3050 is a reasonable upgrade.

if your limiter is the cpu, run the cpu-Z bench and look at the single thread performance.
You should see a score around 493:

5600x would be a decent upgrade.
