Recently, i went from my old APU, to an RX 550, i know it isnt an amazing card, but I get less than 60 fps on lowest settings 800 x 600. My friends Intel Hd 4000 does better than that.

I have tried...
Reinstalling Game
verifying game files
checking for driver updates
making sure temps arent to high (they are at 60 degrees at 100% usage using FurMark
Update:
also made sure hdmi is plugged into GPU and not mobo
Also made sure Integrated Graphics are disabled in BIOS.
Also tried updating drivers

What else can i do

Okay. I’ll do that in the morning. Thanks for getting me this far! I’ll message tomorrow about how the updates go.

Hmm, they only have Windows 8 and 8.1 drivers. no Windows 10 support for PCs bought back then. The site said it should all be done through the device manager.

That's crazy. Windows has had updates. But windows does not update the Realtek audio drivers, the lan drivers, or any other of the chipset drivers for the motherboard. That is associated only with the vendor. That's like asking device manager to update your amd gpu drivers. It won't. You have to get those from amd.

I'd give HP support a call and ask them where you can get the motherboard chipset drivers for windows 10 for your board. Bios too if it's there,if they have one.

Okay. Also wanted to ask, would doing a factor reset possibly help?
