Hi,

I recently upgraded from an AMD 8350 with an ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard to an Intel i7 6700k with an ASUS Z170-DELUXE motherboard.

The 8350 was OC'd to 4.6 ghz, and my 6700k is OC'd to 4.7 ghz (The turbo is, at least). Since upgrading, I haven't really noticed all that much of an improvement. In fact, it feels like everything actually feels like it takes a little longer to load up now. Windows for sure takes maybe 30s-60s longer to boot up (Though, that may be something in the BIOS I can change) and even things like Google Chrome feel like they take longer to load up than they did before.

It definitely feels like my average FPS in games has gone up, but it doesn't feel like it's done as much as it should.

Any help?

It didn't prompt me to reinstall, so I didn't. I had read that you should, but I had also read that you didn't have to. Would it help everything, including games, run faster?
