So I went from a 980ti to a 3080. I had/have a slight overclock on GPU and CPU. I only swapped out the GPU. But now my CPU temps are lower in gaming and GPU temps are also phenomenal, even though I see it pushing 320W. All in same case with same fans and same speeds. Ohh, and its summer time, slightly warmer room.
Any guesses as to why the CPU temp didn't go up? I'm assuming the 3080 pulls around 70-100W more than 980ti. I don't have apples and apples to compare data, but temps are in 60s for both while gaming.
