Question Upgraded to RTX 3070 and Intel i5 but games still run at only 20-ish FPS and are extremely choppy and laggy ?

I've recently upgraded my CPU and GPU yet computer still runs extremely slow as in most games like Fortnite run at 20 fps or so and the entire computer is slow and choppy I've tried many online solutions and they only provide minor fixes, any solutions??

What are the complete specs of the computer? Include the manufacturer and model for each hardware as well as the OS.

Run core temp and gpu-z to get the temps for the CPU and GPU, if they are too high they will clock down to prevent from burning up which will result in very slow speeds.

Full system specs? Previous and new system.

Connect video cable directly to graphics card. Igpu performance is what you get if connect to motherboard video ports.
