Upgrades necessary to put a Radeon 4870 in a Dell Inspiron 580?

Like it says, I haven't found a clear answer. I've been given a radeon 4870 and would like to put it in my Inspiron 580. I know my power supply is probably too weak for it, so I wondered what kind of power supply would be needed.

I would suggest a 480w to 500w psu that has atleast two 6 pin connectors. Dell psu are also tricky so check for the layout and compare.
