Upgrading a notebook CPU; compatibility question

Hello there;

I've been looking to upgrade my notebook CPU for quite some time (I gathered it is kinda hard to do and not always possible) because frankly, dual-core @ 1.5GHz is getting more and more obsolete. I've found a dual-core CPU @ 2.2 for a good, student-available price (20€) which would help a bit; I don't expect nothing great but at least something.

I've looked into the topic, searched the forums, did all the research I could but I still can't be sure so I'm asking you guys. Both my CPU and the one I want to buy should be the same socket (rPGA988B) and use the same Sandy Bridge architecture. I don't know if the CPU I want to buy supports my chipset (HM65) and I don't know if my BIOS is compatible with the CPU I want to buy; I don't know how to find out this information (couldn't find any notebook (not just mine) info on an Intel compatibility utility on their page). Looking at the cpu-world page got me thinking that I'm not sure what "package type" means and how is "Package type 988-pin micro-FCPGA" different from "988-pin micro-FCPGA10 (rPGA988B)"
I also heard notebook CPUs are sometimes hard-soldered onto motherboards; I do not know how to find this out without opening up the notebook itself.

tl;dr - will the CPU I want to buy fit and work with the damn thing? ^.^

Any help appreciated please.

Want to buy: SR07V (Intel Pentium B960) http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/SR/SR07V.html
Currently have: Intel Mobile Celeron B800 http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Celeron_Dual-Core/Intel-Mobile%20Celeron%20B800.html
My notebook model: http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X54HY/#specifications
Hopefully relevant CPUZ info:

EDIT: If I understood the site correctly, I think I've found someone who uses Intel Pentium B940 (I'd want a Pentium B960) on my very same notebook; same model, same BIOS version/revision, same chipset/revision, same northbridge version/revision. I don't know if that means anything and I don't even know if I understood the site correctly, I just found it related to my question so I figured I'd post it here.

go for the i3-2330m and the laptop bios should support it cause there's other computer's with that cpu and you matter's well open the laptop to see if its embedded cpu but doubt it cause your laptop is pretty thick and embedded motherboards is mostly for thin laptops and cpu's ending with 7 not a 0 but go head and open your laptop cause you going to have to anyway if you want to installed the cpu

Thanks for the reply.
If I had the money I'd definitely go for it; unfortunatelly I'm really limited and just curious about this specific CPU I guess.
Ok, I'll check if the CPU is removable manually, just to be sure. It could take some time for a first-timer so I'll probably look into it later. For now I'm interested in finding out whether the B960 will be compatible with my MB or I'm out of luck.

Don't know if bumpposts are allowed here but I don't have a lot of time to make up my mind whether I'll buy the CPU or not (I have time until tomorrow) so sorry if I'm a bit annoying, that's not my agenda here :/

Is please anyone able to tell me whether the CPU Intel Pentium B960 will be compatible with my motherboard I posted in the op?

I had no more time so I took the risk, it worked; currently writing this from that notebook with changed CPU. Just posting the result here in case someone will have the same problem in the future and will not be succesful with asking around.

sorry for no reply i was actually replacing the video card on my own latop and happy to hear that it worked out well and is there any increase in performance and replying that it will work is a good idea for any others with the same problem
