So I've come to the conclusion that no matter what website I use the results will be different so I'd like to ask from a first person stand point and not a bottleneck 'calculator' I etc.
This pc has
Windows 10
1060 3gb SUPERCLOCKED
8gb ddr4 2333Mz
I3 8100
Motherboard. It supports 8th Gen and I don't know the name

So I wanted to have the pc run a 1070ti and I would like to know how severe the bottleneck may be with the 8100 or if I could get away with it? I thank you for anyone looking at this question.

I disagree.

What games are you playing, and what is your monitor's resolution and refresh rate?

Are you going for very high FPS, or want max details at 60fps?

Then the 1070Ti will definitely help you in that direction, whereas the 1060 3GB might struggle to handle 60fps at max details on 1080p, depending on the game.

Generally, for the games you play, it is recommended to monitor GPU and CPU usage. If one of them is often hitting 100% usage, and the other is not, then the one hitting 100% is your weak link.
