AMD K6 II 350HZ, I WAS TOLD THERE MIGHT BE A WAY TO IMPROVE MY PERFORMANCE ON THIS 4 YR OLD COMP.BOOST THE HZ? HOW?

Increase the FSB, increase the multiplier. The first one will benefit the whole system, and the second just the CPU performance.

But be carefull, watch your temps. Cooling is crucial when you are overclocking.

K6-2 weren't known for overclocking well....with a bios update and 50 dollars you can pick up a k6-2 550 and will give you a nice boost......most likely you can find the k6-2 550 even cheaper......like in the 20s....

Agreed - overclocking will only give you a marginal increase and will probably lack stability. Get a K6-2 550. Or if you can stretch to it, a generic Socket 462 board and a lower-end Duron. At least then you'll have some upgrade path, especially if the board has a newer chipset.

Sex is great but it's no substitute for the real thing.....
