Upgrading computer components

I am wanting to upgrade some of my components but I am not sure which ones are a priority, I have been getting a blue screen 'thread stuck in device driver' and I have tried everything to fix it so I am just going to get a new GPU, but what else would you recommend me upgrading.
My specs are:

CPU - Intel core i5-4690
GPU - AMD Radeon r9 290
PSU - cx600m
Motherboard - MSI z87m Gaming
Ram - G.skill 4GB x2
SSD - Sandisk 120GB

also update your motherboard bios


and run DDU to clean out all gpu drivers and install fresh from the amd website

Do you have any recommendations on a good power supply? I'm not sure what it means by bronze/silver/gold.

I have also updated my motherboard bios but the latest one was in 2015, and I have done a fresh install of my drivers.
