That is an FM2+ socket motherboard. I would not recommend spending any money on it.

So you don't have a separate graphics card today? You are using the integrated GPU?

Then ADDING a graphics card can improve your performance. Then it is a question of budget. How much do you want to spend?
And if you can't fully utilize the card, is that a deal breaker. Your CPU will limit most current graphics cards.
Also, if your monitor is ONLY VGA, adding a current graphics card is a hassle.

Currently i have SE2417HGX monitor. Not sure on how many options i have. Was only looking at playing a few games. So it might not even be worth it.

That is a 75Hz 1080p monitor. It has HDMI 1.4 interface. So you are good for upgrade from that perspective. Next limiting factor could be your power supply.
