Upgrading Current PC

So I have a r9 380 4gb and an i3 6100. I want to upgrade but can only buy one part in august and one part in december. So what do I get first? An i5 6600k or a gtx 1070. I dont play many fps games just fyi
 
Solution
while running a game (or whatever it is you're experiencing a bottleneck with) and open up task manager and msi afterburner and leave them running in the background.
then, when experience a performance snag, or after about 10 minutes of gameplay, alt+tab out of the game and look at the cpu usage in task manager (under the performance tab) and the gpu usage in afterburner.

this is how the cpu usage should look like (in case you didn't know):

finally, use snipping tool (search for it in start) and save the images. upload them either to imgur.com or tinypic.com and post...
i think the more important question is which, if any, do you want to upgrade first?
you said that you don't play many fps games, so what do you use the pc mainly for?
do you currently see a bottleneck with the gpu? or with the cpu?
 
I use for gaming. but I play more story driven games not multiplayer. Game Debate website says that my cpu is the bottleneck. But it also says that my cpu will cause me to run at low settings which i dont
