I'm not looking to get headphones just earbuds.

"upgrade" to audio does not often mean much, usually it's "different sound" unless you are going from something clearly bad to something good. Going from one good set to another is just what you like to hear from them. So what is it that you don't like about the ones you have? For under $100, or even $150 I would pick KZ KT10 Pros, after owning a bunch of IEMs in several price ranges those are my go-to set.
