So its black friday and Im thinking about upgrading to a 970GTX from a 760gtx.. Just wanting to know if Im going to see a decent FPS increase. These are the games I play CSGO, WoW, SC2, D3, NBA2K15.. Going to play GTA 5 when it hits PC as well. THanks

If you have a modern Intel CPU it's about 67% faster. Put another way that's 40FPS on the GTX760 and 67FPS on the GTX970.

For games that support MFAA or if you overclock the card higher you'll get a higher number.

That's based on an average of about 20 games. Some games will be higher and some lower.

unless you really need it, i wouldn't, you play WoW, D3, CS:GO NBA... you could run these games on potatoes, so unless youre planning to play the witcher 3, dragon age inquisition, crysis 3, battlefield 4.... you seriously don't need it, the 760 is more than capable of playing GTA5 aswell. I upgraded from a 760 to a 970 and i couldn't be happier because i plan to/play the games i mentioned.
