I got a Radeon HD 6870 from HiS at the moment. I would like to get a new card because I am getting more into playing computer games that aren't MMO's and League.
I am looking for a significant upgrade currently.
Here are my specs:
AMD FX-4100 Zambezi Quad-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+
HIS IceQ X H687QN1G2M Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
I bought all of those back in early 2012 (March?).
Anyways, I want to upgrade to a new GPU because I don't think I will be bottle-necked too bad with this current build.
I was thinking about getting a GTX 970 from MSi or Gigabyte because they seem to be reliable with excellent cooling.
What are your thoughts on what I should get? Im ok with spending the 350 for the 970 because it comes with a game that I would buy anyways.
