Question Upgrading graphics card -- card comparisons ?

Hello everyone, i recently made some upgrades to my pc and the last component left is the graphics card.

Right now my setup is:
-Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING
-CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (3.4 GHz)
-RAM: 2 Viper 16 GB rams DDR4
-Monitor: HP Omen 25 TN Gaming Monitor 24.5" FHD 1920x1080
-Power Supply: CoolerMaster V750 750W 80 Plus Gold
I also have an Arctic cooler for the cpu which i am unsure what model it is (sorry if my terminology is wrong)

So my budget is around 350-400€ and in my country for that price the ones i have found to be closest are the below (the 50€ is not that much of an issue i just included prices for reference)
I am aiming for 1080p 144fps gaming when possible and i have seen that the 6650XT and 6700XT are faster than 3060 (even with Ti included).

One of my issues here is if the ray tracing on the nvidia is actually worth it since i was running an RX 570 graphics card. I am both playing shooter games (MW2 MP for now) and single player games and i have seen huge improvement in visuals with the RT even though the fps drops.
Another concern is the temperatures and how my system would be affected by choosing between manufacturers and 2 or 3 fans. So i would appreciate any kind of suggestion taking into account my setup. Thanks in advance for the help!

AMD
-6650XT

-Gigabyte Radeon RX 6650 XT 8GB Eagle (or Challenger) OC (3 fans - 350€)
-Sapphire Radeon RX 6650 XT 8GB GDDR6 Nitro+ (2 fans- 400€)
-6700XT
-Asrock Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Challenger D OC (2 fans - 400€)
-PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Fighter (2 fans - 420€)

Nvidia (3060 series, no Ti since they go for 50-80€ more)
-Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 Eagle OC Rev 2.0 (2 fans - 370€)
-Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Gaming OC Rev 2.0 (3 fans - 400€)
-Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Vision OC Rev. 2.0 (3 fans - 405€)
-MSI GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 Ventus 2X OC (2 fans - 380€)
-Zotac GeForce RTX 3060 8GB GDDR6 Twin Edge (2 fans - 380€)

From what you listed the 6700xt cards are the strongest. However ray tracing won’t be as good as the nvidia cards. But for 1080p high refresh the 6700xt should be a beast of a card. My 6700xt handles 1440p pretty well also. The 6650xt cards are good and are supposed to be great for 1080p, but I would say if you are keeping the cards long term then the 6700xt will probably age better due to the extra horsepower the card has out of the box.

The 3060s should do fine but keep in mind they are soon to be last generation when the 4060 gets released. So who knows how useful their ray tracing capabilities will be as newer games come out. If you do get the 3060, steer clear of the 8gb model. From what I’ve read they are charging about the same for those as the 12gb models but that the 8gb is a cut down model.

Thanks, i am planning on keeping for kind of long term so think i will go for the 6700xt.
Followup on that, any manufacturer or OC that is preferred on the 6650xt or 6700xt?

Of all of those I would go for the PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Fighter. Your giving up a chunk of performance for the Ray Tracing on Nvidia. You can get playable Ray Tracing performance on things like Cyberpunk it's just not going to be as good as Nvidia.

Besides powercolor, what brand would you say (if any) is best for cooling system and/or performance?

It does somewhat depend on the card rather than just the brand but if I had to pick, I would say Sapphire. However I would have no concerns about buying either a PowerColor or ASRock GPU if they were in budget.
Well the MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Mech 2X and the Asus Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Dual are within the same-ish budget range, otherwise yeah the powercolor will be my choice (i was also looking at cooling system efficiency)

This one is on sale where I live,

I don't think they are going to be any better personally as they are also dual fan cooling solutions. You'll get better cooling and slightly better performance with the more premium cards with triple fan coolers like the PowerColor Hellbound/Red Devil, Asus Strix, Sapphire Nitro+ ect..

The dual fan cards are going to be louder. I don't think it really matters which one you get from those.

Intel I think is doing better but their next gen will likely be what to look out for. I’ve got the MSI mech 6700xt and it’s a good card at 1080p and 1440p. However I got a deal on an rtx 3080 and the 6700xt will be getting swapped out.

Between what you’ve listed I would go with a 6700xt if you don’t care about ray tracing. If you do then you will want an nvidia card. As someone above said if you want that feature and don’t get it you may not be happy with your purchase later. But from a pure performance standpoint without ray tracing the 6700xt should be between a 3060ti and 3070.
