Question Upgrading graphics card to start vr. Can my rig run gtx 1060? Please and thank you

I bought the pc a long time ago. I want to start VR with oculus. If i remmeber correctly i bought 1000 power suply forsome reason. thank you in advance
 
So the issue is if you are looking at a 1660 I would recommend a rx580 8gb or 590 just because they have more vram and are around the same speed if not better. Remember this is all up to you to choose what you prefer and what is your best option. If I were u I would do a lot of online research and watch reviews of the cards especially from gamers Nexus if he has any on these cards. And do less of just listening to only a few people. I personally just got an RX 5700 but I did like 5 hours of research when they released yesterday.
The 1660 is ~15% faster than an RX 580 and performs the same as an RX 590. The 1660 has 6GB of vram which is 2gb less than the RX 590, however, GDDR6 is much faster than GDDR5. Plus, most people won't use 8gb of vram so having faster vram is more important.
