Having an HP ProDesk 600 G5 SFF with an Intel i5 9th Gen processor, I am thinking of upgrading the GPU to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, but I'm not sure if it will function flawlessly or blow up my machine. I'll use it primarily for video rendering and gaming. And because the motherboard supports CPU upgrades up to i9 9th Gen, I'm considering upgrading the present CPU to an i7 9th Gen later on.

With a 180w psu your very limited.
You might want to stick with the hp recco.
