I have an i5 3570K, would I see much more improvement if i were to get an i7 4770k for Titanfall and DayZ etc? I have an as rock extreme 4 z77, 2x hd 7870 xt's, 8gb ram, a 650 watt psu and of course an i5 3570k.

If GHz was the only thing that mattered, AMD CPUs would completely dominate Intel CPUs. However, that is not the case.

To the OP, overclock your CPU. If you're looking to get a better GPU, go with a GOOD single GPU, as I recall 78xx AMD GPUs weren't too great in crossfire.

And overclocking is not hard, there are a vast number of guides throughout the internet that will detail step by step of what you need to do. Find one that suites you, or is the easiest to read for you, and follow it.
I think that the I7 4770k is slightly better but only by .1GHz so if I were you I would stay with the 3570k. If you need turbo-Boost then yes I would get the i7 4770k. The i5 3570k looks like a great CPU though!

I have not done it ether but I have tried. It is hard and if you have an expensive machine I would not do it! 😉 If you have a ASUS Sabertooth X79 without the RAID multiplier it is hard. With the RAID multiplier I think that it is not that hard.
Watch you temperatures though if you overclock!

You do not know what you're talking about.

on-topic: No, with these games you will not see any improvement.

Sorry for the slow reply guys, but thanks alot I appreciate it, will the new intel CPU's be alot better than this one when they come out? Can you run it is saying my cpu isnt good enough to play watch dogs haha!

You won't really see an improvement. The 3570k is a very good cpu,and you don't really need an i7 for gaming.Just save that money and get a better GPU in the future.
If you're still not convinced, just overclock your CPU for some free performance.I say "free",but the cpu will draw more power and generate more heat.So if you want to OC invest some money in an aftermarket cooler.

I've been thinking the same thing of upgrading my cpu, but, just get a better gpu instead or an SSD. Single thread performance really hasn't increased much, intel is already so good, we're good for years to come with an i5. I may save up and get like a GTX 780 for the hell of it. I know for sure I want an nvidia though for the shadowplay, MSI afterburner made games stutter during recording

I know the GHz is not the only thing that matters. Turbo-boost does and the amount of cores and threads. the 4770k has a slightly better GHz per core that is all I am saying.
