[SOLVED] Upgrading Laptop memory?

Im looking into upgrading the RAM on my laptop. It currently has 8 GB DDR4 1866 and i was thinking of upgrading it to 8GB of DDR4 2666? Would this be worthwhile to do or would the difference be minimal. Mainly looking to upgrade because the laptop is used to run editing programs (Photo shop/Silhouette) and is slow

Since the cpu supports up to 2400, this would be faster ram if you current ram is physically limited to 1866. However, the practical effects of this upgrade would at best be 10%. It would be better to get 16gb of ram, but I can't seem to find anyone that's done that.
