Upgrading motherboard and windows 8?

Hi, i am going to upgrade my motherboard and cpu from an amd a6-3600 to an amd fx 6300. I am running windows 8. When i install the new motherboard will windows 8 still work, and will all my data on my harddrive still be there? Thanks.

You need to backup and reinstall windows 8 , make sure you have your key.

They are completely different boards , so you need to save your important files and perform a clean install.

Will i need a new copy of windows? Also, how would i save my files? I have never done this before, sorry for asking questions.
