I am wanting to upgrade my computer because I want to play some games on it, like Fortnite, and CSGO. I have a Dell Optiplex 360, it says on the front and in DirectX it says Optiplex 755. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I would be able to upgrade the processor to this one, Intel-Core-i7-920-2-66GHz-Quad-Core-BX80601920-Processor, and to this graphics card, Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 0 OC 2G Graphics Card - 2 GB GDDR5 - 64-bit - 1290 MHz, and if I would be able to can anybody tell me around how much fps I would get out of those games.

Solution
DDR3 GPU memory is really going to hurt performance on modern games. The newer Radeons don't work in Dells. A 64 bit GT730 1GB DDR5, or GT1030 2GB DDR5 would be better choices. They'll both work well with a 720P monitor. GTX 750Ti would be good and some people say they can run in that slot, but the risk is on you.

Optiplex 755 was available in four sizes. Which one you have, I don't know.
Mini Tower Computer (MT)
Desktop Computer (DT)
Small Form Factor Computer (SFF)
Ultra Small Form Factor Computer (USFF)

Both it and Dell Optiplex 360 use the Intel LGA 775 socket, while the Intel Core i7-920 uses a different size socket - the LGA 1366. It would not fit the socket.

It is the DT I am pretty sure, and is there any better processor that would fit?

A built Optiplex 755 would have a Q9650 or Q9550 CPU, 8GB DDR2 800 RAM, and a Zotac GTX1050Ti Mini if it was an MT case.

Bigger GPU require a PSU swap (MT only) and some modding to fit them even in the MT.
There was a bracket to use a full height GPU in the DT case but then the 25W GPU limit raises it's ugly head.

If you already had an Opti MT then it's workable, but if you need to buy another computer there are much better options.
In low profile GPUs the GTX750Ti is about alll that will fit w/o modding.

I was reading some other threads, and this same guy kept on showing up recommending this card, ASUS Radeon HD 6450 DirectX 11 EAH6450 Silent/DI/1GD3(LP) 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card, and some others, saying it would fit the other ones besides the USFF. Would this one work, or would it exceed the PSU limit?

Thank you for your help, sorry for so many questions, but would this 730 work? PNY GeForce GT 730 RGMG731WE2F1EA1KTP 1GB 64-Bit Video Card

Alright, thank you so much!
