Hey guys and girls.

Im mainly play "low requirement" games like Counterstrike GO and Path of Exile and ive been made aware that my 30-40 fps setup is an imbassasement to my pride as a gamer so ive opted to upgrade! Ive been wondering for so long and very soon one of my games will release a big update which i want to be ready for.

The big question is whether my system is so hopelessly out of date that no graphic card can save it or if my GeForce GT520 is bottlenecking my halfway decent system. Im a very poor student and currently im looking at a GeForce GTX 750 1 or 2 GB for around 150$ but i would be so devestated if throwing this much money after the PC didnt atleast tripple my CSGO fps. All my friends have like 150-200 fps playing that game.

ive tried to provide some information about my system but if you need any additional information from me please let me know and mabye include how to find this - (either way i can mabye google it)

my system

NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Resolution 1920x1080 - optimally

thanks so much for any and all replys. im lost in limbo trying to figure out what to do :)

Lol with that i7 you won't bottleneck a 750 on cs:go I guarantee it. The 750 is an ok card. 750ti is better, 260x would be a better recommendation if power is not an issue. If you wanted to you could even put a mid-high end card in that system and it would be ok :) If you are just playing low-demanding games I wouldn't go past the 100-150 price point though. I would definately save your money and upgrade the GPU.
