I have trouble playing games like Nosgoth, Total War:Rome2, Total War:Shogun2 and lag really badly when I run into CS:GO smokes. So, I thought it might be time to upgrade my graphics card. Right now I have a Nvidia GeForce GT 420. The best cards within my price range (I think) are:
XFX R7-370P-4DF5 AMD Radeon R7 370 4GB
MSI GTX 960 GAMING 2G
Gainward 426018336-3392

I have 4gb of ram (Upgrading to 8gb of ram)
And also an i7 2600 processor
Which graphics card do you guys think is the best or is there anything else you would recommend?(For gaming on 1080p)

Solution

Any gtx 960 will suffice. Overclocking from the factory is a good addon but don't pay too much of a premium.

Wow, that was a fast response! I take it you recommend the MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card and not the Gainward one? Also, the MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card costs $243 is it worth that much?

Depends on where you live. The MSI GTX 960 Gaming 2G is a good GPU, but if the Gainward GTX 960 is a fair bit cheaper just take that one.

However, if all you do is CS:GO at 1080@60fps (or up to 120 fps) all you need is a GTX 950 (Which is already too much in fairness).

A GTX 750 Ti also does about 120-140 fps in CS:GO. This way you can save money.

However if you play several other games like AAA titles and such the GTX 950 and the slightly better 960 are good balance in performance.

The MSI one is about $10 more expensive but the main thing I want my graphics card to do is run most games on playable graphic settings for a few years so that's why I chose the GTX 960 over the GTX 750Ti/GTX 950. For example, right now I have to play Rocket League at the lowest setting or it won't be playable and it's ugly now too ;-;
My current graphics card is also not capable of handling AAA titles so that's why the games listed aren't that high-end PC needing...

On second thought, I will get a GTX 950 since it will save me $30 and don't know if I will ever need the GTX 960.
Of the; MSI GTX 950 GAMING 2G, ASUS STRIX-GTX950-DC2OC-2GD5 and the EVGA GeForce GTX 950 FTW ACX 2.0
Which one would be the better choice?
