Hi

I currently own a PC with the following specs:
Asus P8Z77-M Motherboard - LGA 1155
Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual Core Processor
Kingston 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz HyperX XMP Kit for Sandybridge
120GB SSD Hard Drive
500GB HDD
HTPC slimline case c/w 300w power

I’ve mainly used this to watch movies but would like to play some games on the PC but it does meet the requirements for most games.

I like Racing games like Burnout, Forza, Need for speed and also like games COD and beat em ups like Street Fighter.

my question is it possible just to upgrade the graphics card instead of using the built in Intel HD 2000 or would I need to upgrade the processor too?

Thanks in advance

I'd probably start with just a low-profile GT730/1030 and see how that goes. Your power supply will not support anything much better than that. If need be, you can update the BIOS and install a better processor later.

Hi
just a quick update...
I purchased a i5 3570 3.4GHz CPU
Is it still best to go for a low-profile GT730/1030 or should I opt to upgrade the power supply and a better graphics card?
Thanks

That's going to depend on the case and how easy it would be to upgrade the power supply. Need and actual model number to the case.

Hi
The case doesn't appear to have a name and the PSU doesn't appears to have one either.
I have measured the PSU and is measures:
85 x 65 x 175
Case Measures:
330 x 365 x 95
Thanks
