Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my PC starting with graphics, but I really am not sure what direction I should go or what level/grade of graphics card my PC will not run. I currently run a Radeon R7 series. If there are any other specs you might need to help me out, I will do my best to give you what you need. I do not necessarily consider myself gaming PC savvy, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Processor: AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 3.10 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB (14.9 GB usable)

Despite googling, I am not sure how to find what motherboard, and I still have to open up my case to see what power supply I have, though I know it is rather powerful from when I bought the PC. What do you mean by case for the card? Again, I am sorry for not being computer savvy. As I did not build my PC, it was built for me, so I am still learning.

If you haven't opened the case, then I'm going to assume it is a pre-built pC you bought, not one you built. I doubt the PSU is much more than a stock 300W. Apparently right now you are running off the APU's integrated gfx... no discrete card. W/o opening the PC and telling me what the PSU's nameplate says, I will have to assume you have a 300W. The GTX-750 Ti or RX-550 would be the safest choices.

The reason I asked what case the card would have to go in, was because some cases (like slim-lines) only accept low-profile cards. Some cases are designed such that they only accept cards up to a certain length. Some older Dell cases have a crazy BTX design that requires the card be single slot only.
