Upgrading old system

Hello I have a CM1745 and I was thinking about making a quick upgrade. I want to get a cheap GT 1030 to play some basic games such as Minecraft, War Thunder, Garry's Mod. While I can run those games at low settings on my 1680by1050 monitor on low settings 20-30 fps I was wondering if anyone else has done this to the same model. Also inside it has 3 PCIE slots. One is a inch above the floor of the case while the other is blocked of of by the the I/O. The middle one is the only one actually connected to a exspansion slot. What should I do? Also the middle PCIE slot is about a inch shorter then the others!

If the middle slot (the one you want to use) is an inch shorter then it is not a PCIe it is just a PCI. That's not good if you want to put a GPU in there.
