Question Upgrading phenom x6 1055T

Hi everyone, currently my pc have this spec

phenom x6 1055T
GT 740
8 gb ram
550w Psu.

so i am planning on upgrading my cpu to i5 3470 and my VGA to rx 570. i dont want to use newer cpu because it will cost me too much. In my country i am able to buy this setup for around $200 (i can sell my motherboard and cpu for $70) so i only need to spend around $130.
is it worth to upgrade to i5 3470? will it hinder my gpu ? mostly i play Dota 2 / csgo. for offline games, maybe like gta v and AoT (Attack on Titans)

I suppose that's not a terrible setup and would improve your gaming performance in those mostly single-threaded games like Dota 2 and CSGO. But it still seems like a rather bad idea to buy something so old.

I would suggest getting the RX 570 and saving your money for a Ryzen setup.

How much is a Ryzen 3 1200 + B350 or B450 motherboard + 8GB DDR4 in your country?

it will cost me around $260 and for the rx 570 $130.
and btw for the i5 3470 setup the total cost for me is around $200 (edited).
if i sell my old setup it will cost me around $130 .
so $390 vs $130.
