Upgrading Satellite Radius 15.

Can the Satellite Radius 15 i5 laptop processor be upgraded with i7 processor?

Exact model? My 15" Radius uses an i5-4210U which is BGA(soldered to the motherboard).

If the processor cannot be upgraded/replace how do you repair the laptop if the processor malfunction AND your warranty for the laptop has expired?

The 5200u is BGA, and while it is possible to replace BGA cpus it requires the proper equipment and knowledge. CPU failures are fairly rare but in most places(shops and even warranty repair outfits) usually opt for a entire motherboard/cpu replacement if a BGA cpu fails.

HDD and memory are about it. I removed the HDD in mine and replaced it with an SSD.
