Solution
Get a USB flash drive, backup the files (unless empty) then format to FAT32. Extract the .zip file to the memory stick. Restart your PC and immediately hold down the 'Delete' key, directing you to BIOS.

If you don't know already, look for the 'Advanced Mode' option, click it then click 'Tool'. Finally, click EZ Flash Utility. Locate the correct files you downloaded to update, flash the BIOS and then you should be good to go.

Restart to check if the system POSTs, power off the system, replace the new CPU and power up again.
The latest BIOS can be downloaded here.

You will need to reinstall your old CPU to perform the BIOS update, or check which version is currently installed, if the BIOS is the issue.

Beep codes pertain to many things, but could easily be your CPU, or perhaps memory. You may have inadvertently bumped something in the process of changing your chips.

Did you happen to unplug anything while working inside your system? Worth double checking all of the pertinent connections such as motherboard 20/24-pin power, 4/8-pin CPU power. CPU heat sink fan power. Make sure all add-in boards are firmly in their sockets. Is the 6-pin PCIe power connector attached to the graphics card?

Thanks guys, i will download the latest BIOS and see how i go.

As far as I'm aware i didn't touch anything else, just unpluged the CPU's cooling fan(but obviously put it back on once i was done)
