I want to upgrade my PC slowly and have no idea where I should start first.

Mainly use it for games, just need an idea of where to start.
 
For games, you will probably need to upgrade the CPU, moving to an i5 or i7 cpu, they are better for gaming than the AMD ones. After that, video card. 4gig of RAM is OK, but you may want to go to 8 at some point.
