UPlay Assassin's Creed Black Flag Cloud Save Not Working

A while ago my hard drive failed and I lost basically everything on it. After doing some research I found out that UPlay, which I have Assassin's Creed on, has a cloud save like steam. I was very happy but when I downloaded the game to steam and ran it of of UPlay it acted as if I never played it. Is there some way to activate the cloud save?

I also played Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag in December, 2013. I completed it 99% and lost saves just like you did. So you are not alone on this issue. You can check the Ubisoft forums.

Activating the Uplay cloud saves isn't a task you can do from your end. Ubisoft disabled AC4 cloud saves and never enabled it again. I think they did it because of the launch of Watch Dogs.
