Hey guys,

For some reason my NAS connected to my Cyberpower LE850G was off this morning. After poking around with it this morning, anything UPS protected would shut the ups off but anything surge protected would stay on means that my battery is probably dead. Searched around and the part # for the battery is RB1270B.

2 Questions, would you suggest that I replace it with a lead acid battery or put in an LiFePO4 battery instead? Is it considered safe and doesn't catch fire?

As I said, the battery's part # is RB1270b and I found this in amazon for $43 which has the dimensions of 5.88"D x 2.56"W x 3.88"H

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DHHH3YNK/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A33N703ELCFX8U&psc=1

However, when I searched for 12v 7ah batteries with a similiar dimensions 5.94 x 2.56 x 3.7inch.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B095K38M6C/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=A5E67EI059JKH&psc=1

Price is about 1/2 price of the previous one and it looks good and should I be buying this one instead? Thanks.

Your UPS didn't come with a lithium phosphate battery. It came with a standard lead acid battery. I would recommend a direct replacement.
There are pages that say AGM batteries (like in your UPS) can be replaced with LiPO batteries, I don't recommend.
