[URGENT HELP] cannot Install ANY OS on a PVCLE266M-L v3.0A Motherboard

Hey All,

Got this flex-atx motherboard/cpu combo from a friend recently, untested.

I cannot seem to install any OS on the Mobo. XP Freezes at different stages, (From a Legit CD), Ubuntu Freezes, and 5x Other Small Linux Distros freeze or crash.

I installed XP fine on another PC, then switched the HDD, that didnt work. The Hard Drive Works Fine.

I can navigate through BIOS on the Mobo, and it picks up the RAM, HDD and CDROM fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Is the motherboard im working with.

15 views no repies? Any Ideas guys? Its a CLE266 chipset if that helps.

PVCLE266M-L V3.0 will not boot into any OS. I have 2 identical boards. I can navigate BIOS on both of them with the DDR400 512MB RAM stick I have put in. (The specifications says PC133 or 266, but THEY DONT FIT.) All OS i have tried pause at different times in setup. Ive tried about 7 Linux Distros including ubuntu, 1MB tiny linux and others as well as XP and windows 7 and windows 95.
