URGENT - Upgrade to MSI GTX 1080 or 1070

I cant decide between the 2 GPUs
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING Z 8GB - £386
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 AERO OC 8GB - £420

Because i read about noise and temperature of the MSI GTX 1080 Aero OC stock fan cooler is bad but i would prefer a GTX 1080 because of performance.

I dont have extra money to invest into GPU cooler and stuff like that so please tell if the GTX 1080 wont cause any problems when playing high end games without over heating my system and causing bad air flow and stuff like that

here is my build without GPU included:
CPU: I5 6600K
CPU Cooler: MSI - CORE FROZR
PSU: Cooler Master G650M 650W
MB: MSI - Z170A GAMING M7
3 Case fans: Thermaltake - Pure 12 LED 41.0 CFM 120mm
1 Case fan: Cooler Master - R4-SFNL 120mm
Monitor: AOC - Q2778VQE 27.0" 2560x1440 60Hz
Case: Cooler Master Masterbox 5 MSI Gaming Edition

The 1070 is enough for your 60hz monitor. Tho its not much of an upgrade from a 980 or 980ti. I would like to know what your old GPU was else the 1070 may be a let down?

I was in this exact rut. The Price is so close between a 1070 and a 1080 amd even a 1080ti for that. I ended up going BIG so if you have the cash 1080 is around 10-15% faster for like 50 Pounds. Hard to not go for the 1080

Will a GTX 1080 blower style GPU be suitable for the case i chosen for my build so air can circulate and not cause problems.

Here is the 1070 Aero. The 1070 Aero itx is only 305 if you need to save cash.

The master case is more than suitable for any of these cards.
