My computer has the (USB 2.00 Flash capability) installed, but when I plug an
MP3 Player into the available USB ports, there is a pop-up message which
tells me that "the device can perform faster if I plug it into another port)
.... but there are no other ports as far as I can see...how can I use USB 2.00
Flash.

USB ports are usually paired and some early versions of
computers had some USB ports and some USB 1.1 ports, often
you will have ports in the back. You'll just have to look.

My computer (a two year old Fujitsu lap top) has a pair of USB ports at the
back... I've tried both of them without success... the same message comes up
to say that the device will perform quicker if I use the USB 2.0 Flash Hub.???

A two year old laptop probably only has USB 1.1. Open the
device manager and look for the details on the USB, it
should say "enhanced" if you have USB 2.0.
