Hello everyone!

I've searched the forum for this issue and I haven't found any posts relevant to this issue. I own Abit BD7II motherboard with a Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz with Windows XP SP2 and latest security patches installed.

As most of you know the BD7II has up to 6 USB 2.0 ports supported by it's controllers. When I plug my USB 2.0 Storage Device into one of 4 USB ports installed I get the well known unwanted message: 'This device can perform faster. For a list of available ports...' which means it's performing as USB 1.0 or USB 1.1 device. The USB Storage Device works fine on other computers. When I open Device Manager I see 4 controllers installed (but I think there should be 3 installed - each one for 2 ports). They are:
Intel 82801DB/DBM USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller
Intel 82801DB/DBM USB StandardHost Controller
Intel 82801DB/DBM USB StandardHost Controller
Intel 82801DB/DBM USB StandardHost Controller

When I check controllers for issues I get the message which states that they are functioning properly.

I know for sure that USB Storage Device isn't using it's full bandwith because there is a big difference in using it on a 'normal' computer. I am using Microsoft drivers for controllers which are supported by manufacturor.

Any suggestion would be appreciated,
Thank you!
