USB 2 Port Not Recognized

Hello out there in Cyber Space. My USB Port 2 is in a failed state and is not recognized anywhere. USB Bus Controller does not even show up in Device Manager. I have a Acer Aspire Laptop and running Windows 10 latest build. What happened?
Any ideas; I would be most grateful. Acer could not even help me.

Have you tried running drivers updater and made sure all proper drivers are installed and all devices enabled? if device manager doesnt show all your devices you know you have, it maybe a hardware issue.

YOU ARE PROBABLY RIGHT. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW. THE ONLY THING THAT I KNOW FOR SURE; IS THAT IT IS IN A FAILED STATE. THE DRIVER THAT I NEED IS NOT EVEN IN DEVICE MANAGE UNDER USB CONTROLLERS.
