[SOLVED] USB 3.0 card without PCIe slot

I want to add a 4 port USB 3.0 card but all I can find use the PCIe slot. Mine is covered up by my double wide Nvidia card. Any alternatives?

What is your motherboard?
There are some pcie extenders that you might be able to use.
Something like this:

Or you might want to consider an external, mains-powered or bus-powered USB hub, that solves the unusable slot problem.

The MOBO is a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 and the slot is a PCIEx1 (small).

What ^they say. Either an external hub if u already have at least one USB3 port, or a PCIe extender cable assuming the new card doesn't require more than 1 PCIe lane and u have room for the new card.

If the PCI slot is unused, just pop one of these in there.
