USB 3.0 monitor OR USB-C monitor?

I'm looking to connect a monitor via usb to hdmi in the monitor. However, I'm unsure of how to set this up and whether to use USB-C or just USB 3.0. Any help would be appreciated!

THere are solutions.... Asus makes a monitor that will connect via USB to add as a second display. Keep in mind that these type of solutions require your CPU to compress the video to display. Not good for gaming but for general work, it works fine. There are probably other solutions out there as well.

So will this work if I use an adapter from usb to HDMI into another monitor?
