My case doesn't have any USB C ports built in.
No USB 3 ports, for that matter.
So, I got this:
https://www.newegg.com/p/35G-0028-0...5" front bay usb 3-_-9SIACJF6NV5793-_-Product
I have a floppy drive mounted with a 34-pin floppy to USB converter (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-44MB-3-5...180466&hash=item23b86cb13a:g:z-4AAOSwQg9b0m-t) and since I wanted to mount a USB-C port in it, I figured "why not get a USB-C insert for this port and then set the spare USB-A port for my converter? That way I don't have to run the cable out the back of my case."
I can't find one that has the USB-E internal motherboard port thingy on it, though or with a 20-pin header that I can adapt.
Does anyone know if such a thing exists, and if so, where I can find it?
And yes, I know that my motherboard (Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming) doesn't have a USB-C header, but either of the boards I plan to upgrade to does.

Not really. Probably should have phrased it better.
A female USB-C port that fits into a USB-A-sized slot that has either a 20-pin or 24-pin motherboard connector on the other end.

If you are planning on replacing the motherboard, why not plan on a new case with USB C and USB 3 instead of buying adapters since you need to take the system apart anyway to swap motherboards? $30 on adapters, vs $80 on a new case with ports you want, sell your case, would be near identical cost.

Yes, I do. Only way to easily communicate with my legacy systems that doesn't involve buying loads of CDs.
And 5.25" to 3.5" bay adapter. I have one with 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, but they are removable. That's why I was looking for an insert - I can just use one of the Type-A ports for my USB floppy adapter and put a Type-C port in its place.
