This reader works on other PCs but not on your windows 11 PC. You used "workstation". Is this actually the workstation version of Windows 11 we are talking about ?

Has the USB reader worked before at all, on that computer or a different computer ?

Have you tried to insert a different SD card in the card reader ?

Yeah, I have been looking to repair my own SD Scandisk reader. There are repair methods online that I want to survey. Since I need some more aspiration to do so, I'm concerned. It is going to be a long time until I fix it anyway.

An actual 'broken' SD card reader is not worth the time to try to fix.
Replacements can be had for under $10.
