USB device not recognizes error with ADATA HD710 external dard disk

previously it was working fine but its showing error "USB device not recognizes" and after click on this error it showing "one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it"..
after connecting hard disk it showing only drive letter in windows explorer and also in disk management but no functionality, can not format also (saying please insert disk into removable disk)
i tried it on many computers with windows 7 and ubuntu, also done uninstalling it from Device Manager and reconnecting it again, it automatically installing drivers also but still same error (USB device not recognizes).

Its either time to send it in for warranty repair or remove the drive from the enclosure and see if that, at least, still works as an internal drive.
