Hi all,
I have a problem with USB mouse on my laptop. Here's what I tried already:
  • problem exists with wireless and wire mouse. Both do work fine on another computer
  • USB flash drive works fine, so I believe that the USB port's hardware seems to be OK.
  • I have deleted various devices on device manager
  • Of course I have already restarted my computer (more than once).
  • according to my device manager, USB drivers are up to date.

What could be the problem here?

Thanks for your response.

My mouse USB clashed with the door lightly when this problem arose.

I have realised that items are showing as charging but it seems to not have any progress, it just shows there is a connection. E.G Iphone will say unlock iphone to use accessories but will not charge. A vape will turn on from 0% and mark as charging but has not moved from 0%.

Will this need a computer specialist to look at it?
