Well, I bought a wifi adapter (Edimax EW-7811Un 150Mbps 11n, link: http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7811Un-150Mbps-Raspberry-Supports/dp/B003MTTJOY) And it is insanely slow. Like, Dial Up Speed slow. I was downloading a game on steam and the speed I got was 5-100 Kilobytes per second. Now, I know Nano USB Wifi adapters are slower than average. But not this slow. It used to work well, I use to get 1.5 Megabytes per second or more on steam, but now it is so slow, it is useless. How do I fix this problem? PS. I am on a desktop PC running Windows 10.

Solution
Moved the PC, moved the router, moved furniture, next door neighbor is using your WIFI. Windows 10 made a driver update, the product is failing.
Run speed test this could just of been on steams end if your PC still opens web pages the same.

Buy a set of these and plug them INTO THE WALL OUTLET NOT A SURGE PROTECTOR one by the router and one by your PC.

I don't know. Just suddenly one day it decided to start being really slow.

Neighbors turned on their WiFi? Some other new interference?
Possibly try changing channels.

Its slow on everything. I have ran several speed tests before and the lowest I ever got was .14mbps. So, I decided just to get a powerline adapter for my internet off of amazon. I already knew about the powerline adapters, but I thought I would try to fix this thing before I bought one. But anyways, thanks for your help.

Oh, and the second link doesn't work, I am just assuming that it is a powerline adapter you linked me.

And to answer some of those questions, Yes, I have moved my PC, No, I have not moved furniture, no I have not moved the router, I have password protected wifi so no, my neighbor is not using it. And I don't know if driver updates did something or not. So, I am guessing the product is defective. Too late to send it back though.

I just bought a powerline adapter for my internet instead. I hope it works better. Thanks for your help.

I just registered to leave my grain of salt in this discussion, I had this same problem, and the solution is quite simple and ironic at the same time. I tried moving the settings, setting the 20_40mhz etc and none of that made a big difference. So I contacted customer support and got surprised by their recommendation, I was told to put the nano adapter in a usb extension cord, with the edimax logo facing up.

I happened to have a extension cord * quite long actually. I placed the nano adapter with it near the wifi router (around 3m away) and now I have freaking full speed wifi.

This solution is not practical in a laptop setup, but since I am on a desktop I dont care too much about it, I prefer having my full internet speed.

Uh, thanks, but I think I have already misplaced the adapter due to me not using it.

Bernardo_2, I just registered to say thank you. I recently bought an Asus nano wifi adapter and had the same problem. I found an old 10 cm USB extension cord and my wifi went from .1% to full. Thank you!!

Bernardo_2, I also just registered to say Thank You! I had this issue for almost a year 3 years and I was using Ethernet cable in the meantime, but your trick solved the issue. :)
