Hi everyone

I've been experiencing issues with my sister's motherboard after trying to upgrade her BIOS for a new CPU. Initially I was experiencing EZ Debug problems after putting the new Ryzen 5 5600X into the motherboard but that issues has subsided after resetting the CMOS. Now I have a new problem, and the PC is having an USB Over Current.

I've already troubleshooted what I've seen online; checking for debris, any rogue pieces of dust, or if the IO shield is touching the inside of any ports but nothing. I've tried plugging in each USB device one by one but nothing either. One major red flag I've seen is that even if I were to unplug all three USB headers, I still get this message. Like even if there are zero USB related cables plugged in.

I'm thinking this is a Motherboard issue and so I believe we need to get her a new one. She currently runs on a MSi B450M Pro-M2 MAX, should I just get her another one of these or are there different motherboards with the same budget (~$90)? Alternatively, I currently have a ASRock B450M Steel Legend; Are there any motherboard upgrades I can make and give her this one? I was thinking the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F.

Any suggestions for potential further troubleshooting or advice on motherboards would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
