USB ports on right side of laptop not working

I have an HP ProBook running Windows 7. The 2 USB ports on the right side stopped working about a year ago. Nothing I do will restore them. Does anybody have any ideas? Have run all sorts of virus scans, and I'm getting nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Reinstall your USB drivers for that laptop model.

Google search HP ProBook and then your model number. Go to the HP site, set your Windows version, go to Input Devices or something and you should find USB drivers.

Restart after installing
