Usb problems

Hello,
I have tried to plug in the mouse several times
in the deffernt ports,and each time,it said USB
Device Not Recognized.What can I do? I have
a Dell Inspiron 1545. Thank You

What OS?

Do a Window update and see if driver is updated.

Also, check for driver from the device's company.

You can also manually select a driver in device manager (generic mouse and keyboard), so that it works. Not recommend because some function may not be there for the mouse and keyboard. Not recommended for device other than mouse and keyboard.
